It’s incredible to think that children are risking their lives doing dangerous things. For me, it’s one of the most stupid things I can imagine. I think teenagers use to do dangerous things because they need taste different activities, specially, the most risky or forbidden. This kind of activities permit them demonstrate the other teenagers who they are, and its fell them more secure.
I think that a good alternative for the teenager of Proctor House can be that the local authority offers free (or almost free) risk activities for teenagers: parachute-jumping, car-racing, bungee-jumping, etc. This kind of activities could belong to a more complete programme where other sport activities appear, for example, football math or basketball math. This thinks could promote the spirit of competition and the desire of improving.
Kids in my country also do dangerous things, stupid things. I know it's very popular to taste drugs and net-surfing in forbidden pages of Internet.
I remember when I was young that me and me friends of the schools were trying to think of things to do to kill time. We played some pranks, but never dangerous things.
