In relation to the Net Search exercises from Unit 2, these are my findings:

1) After a hard research on different webs, I found three examples of women who work in a jobs that had been traditionally done by men.
- Valentina Tereshkova was the first autronaut woman. She is Russian and was the first woman to fly in space 40 years ago.
- Cathy O’Dowd was the first women who climbed the Everest by the both faces. She is Sudafrican. Cathy climbed Everest twice: in 1996 by the south face and in 1999 by the north face.
- Benazir Bhutto, was the first woman elected to lead a Muslim state. She had been Prime Minister of Pakistan twice, in 1988–1990 and 1993–1996. She was assassinated on 27 December 2007.

2) I tried but I didn’t find websites about people worried because the surveillance. What I found was so much information about the new technologies in relation to this issue. For instance, wikipedia says that this kind of control can be practise by cellphones, telephone tapping, directional microphones, close circuita television, night vision, GPS tracking, satellites... and many others. One of the most dangerous is the Internet.

3) Arthur Conan Doyle was the scottish writter who created Sherlock Holmes. So this is a fiction character who appeared in the late 19 century. His stories were located mainly in London city.
- When was the first Sherlock Holmes’s novel published?
- How many short stories about this character were written by Doyle?
- And what about novels?
- What’s the name of his faithfull colleage?
- Is Mr. Holmes a drug consumer?
