I think the most useful electrical equipment are:
-cd player. Because it's the most popular format
-mobile phone. Because is the most comfortable communication system
-remote control. Because every home has various
-microwave oven. Because ous life system make it essential
-alarm clock. Because it's necessary every day to go to work

Let me add a comment,
with the new mobile tecnology, all of that electrical equipment can reduce to only one item:
The mobile phone with mp3 player, alarm clock, internet access, TV and video player...
The problem is how heat the meal with it! (...is a joke, a bad joke.)
