I'm like Deniz in my planning style because I also teach in a secundary school, and that's different of teaching in a night school, for adults or in a specific school as tourism one.
I tried to choose an order about the qualities to plann, and I don't really know how to put in order. For me, every lesson is different and I try to have a regular orden but sometimes I have to change my plan.
anyway, all of them are important and they have to be in my lesson planns, for example, it is so important to have a logical order, as it helps to the lesson flow, and for me it is so important to do a variety of exercises, so the students will be more motivated and they'll pay more attenttion.

3. I plan a series of lessons but I review everyone before doing it,
I don't start with the aim, I just do readings and from them we get the aim.
I use the coursebook to practise exercises and use the listenings and readings.
I don't plan in great detail as every class is different!!


4. I'll tell to that new teacher..." Don't plann everything!! every class is different, every student is different...so every lesson it is different!!!´"

Thanks for posting Irene! How closely do you follow the course book? Do you use it every lesson?
