Famous cases of doping

Lance Edward Armstrong , was an American former professional road racing cyclist. He was the 1993 Elite Men's Road Race World Champion, and he had won the Tour de France seven consecutive times from 1999 to 2005, but was stripped of his Tour de France victories in 2012 after a protracted doping scandal.

Armstrong had been the subject of doping allegations ever since winning the 1999 Tour de France. In 2012, a United States Anti-Doping Agency investigation concluded that Armstrong had used performance-enhancing drugs over the course of his career and named him as the ringleader of "the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen.

It is one of the most famous cases of doping in the sports. Unless that this cases stopped for ever, it will be very hard to explain people that the sport competitions are a good thing to do.

Within sport there are who feel that it's unfair that those cases of cheats maybe start a never-ending list of other sport doping cases. Maybe, the problem of doping is caused by he pressure on atheltes to win, maybe not. But, the question is if it's healthy to mix money and sport.
