What do you think?

What do you think?

If I had to choose a theory on the purpose of dreams I’d go for Freud and Jung’s ones; I totally agree with the idea that the conscious and the subconscious are closely connected. So, all the actions that have an emotional impact in our lives affect our subconscious in a way nobody can predict. Nevertheless, I’m of the opinion that dreams connect the two worlds in a way sometimes surprises us either in a pleasant or in a unpleasant way. What I’d suggest to scientists, psychologists and neurologists is the study of the power of the brain to module or direct the way dreams take place; that is the study of the power of meditation on the way dreams develop. It is widely known that meditation is a powerful tool to module the brain and it could be of great use to get to know the meaning of what we dream.

Thanks for your message Olga. Yes I'm not sure about the meanong of dreams. Sometimes I think it's just nonsense, but other times they seem to be very closely connected with your life. But yes, it would be interesting to know what they mean, if anything! :)
One thing Olga:
in a way sometimes surprises = .. in a way that surprises us
What I’d suggest to scientists, psychologists and neurologists is the study = OK this sentence doesn't work. Maybe you can say: I think it would be interesting if scientists etc. studied....
brain to module= Module is not a verb. Modulate is, but I think here you can say: The power of the brain to influence/affect
See you,
Pieter

Ooh! How interesting! I think I don't know so much about dreams like you do! I think dreams have to mean something but because even the Science doesn't know very well what is it... I don't really have concerns about it!
