There is no perfect coursebook, and most of the coursebooks I´ve used are not useful because either the leve is to high for my students or it has been desing for native speakers. As teachers we have to deside what can be used from them and how to adapt the content to at least follow the syllabus. The resourses that we get from the coursebooks is not enogh so we have to find different and improved materials to work with.

coursebooks help you with your classes but its very important to use extra material and to omit those activities that are not appropriated for your students.

Yes, I agrre with you. I believe that we as teachers have to be balanced and flexible about using a coursebook!
