I do sometimes play chinese whispers in the classroom.
I tell my learners to put themselves in rows. I take advantage of my classroom and seats, they are in lines, so for the activity I have many groups or teams.
I tell them "when I count up to three everybody should be ready in their lines". So when they are in their lines, I call the last learners of each line and show them the sentence they have to make the first of the line write on the board. "you are not allowed to look, put your head down and wait the learner at you back to tell you the sentence"
I am just monitoring and checking everybody is following the instruction.

In order to practice live listening and grammar structure I play a game "Guessing"
First, sts should remember the appearance and clothes that their groupmaters are wearing at that moment. Then they sit back to back trying to describe their partners' clothes. Other sts check whether the groupmates are true or not.
My role is monitoring and checking the used vocabulary
