In the last February, HandBalls Spain National Team won the gold medal in the match against Swedens team. The final score was 29 to 23 for Spain.
The competition was celebrated in Croatia.
In the final, Spain was better than Sweden from the beginning.
One of the best player in Spain was the goalkeper Arpad Sterving, that he had to fly to Croatia from Spain because the main goalkeper of Spain, Perez de Vargas,
got injured in his right leg. Arpad was excellent.
It was the first time that Spain won the gold medal in Eurocope Final.
They are knowing as the Hispanos.
