Extreme Sports and Co.

Postby AnePeOy » Fri Nov 03, 2017 3:27 pm

I really don’t know so much about extreme sports. I’m pretty gutless actually. The most dangerous things I’ve done in my life are canopy and canyoning and I have to say, both experiences were amazing ones. It probably sounds like the cliché, but I really felt alive. Between my future plans is for example to go paragliding with a couple of friends of mine, we wanted to do it the last year, but we couldn’t find a date...I hope next spring will be so far!

Hello!!

My answers:

In my country Colombia are famous the extreme sports, is popular climbing in rocks in a small town called Suesca, too is popular the stuck in the wáter, this activity in Magdalena river. I don´t like the extreme sports I think are dangerous, and I see in the news seriously accidentes, with people died, I prefer the common soports for example football and athletics, there are risk but less than the extreme sports.

Thanks for writing Jaime. I agree - jumping out of planes or off bridges just seems crazy to me! I would never do any of those things. But what is stuck in the water? I don't know this sport. Can you describe it?
See you,
Pieter

Hello!!

My answers:

In my country Colombia there are inusual extreme sports and activities, for example in Manizales is popular the car race without motor. The people must push on the car for the downhill Street, also is famous climbing to Monserrate hill, in here there is a big church: “The santuary of Jesus fallen”, the journey take about two hours walking, but some people prefer climbing it, in Villeta, a small town near to Bogota the people practice rafting in a mighyt river. In the Tolima region there is a air force base, in this place the people enjoy jummping of the plane with parachute and make acrobatics. Colombia is a country with variety geography, in here there are all the climates, for this reason is atracctive the practice extremy sports.

Thanks for your attentION!!

Hello

There are other extreme sports like:
- Hang Gliding
In this extreme sport, a person slips through the air while is supported in a harness connected to a large triangular wing
- Cliff jumping
In this extreme sport, a person jumps from a high cliff and dives into the sea
- Downhill
In this extreme sport, person cyclists at high speed down from a hill saving obstacles and jumping
I have never made an extreme sport but I have made mountain bike that some people consider (no me), an extreme sport. In fact, maybe they have some raison because depending on how you do this sport could be dangerous and It is not abnormal injuries and painful falls.

Regards
Javier
