SPORTS AND RELIGION STICKS TOGETHER

SPORTS AND RELIGION STICKS TOGETHER

Postby HARUMI HERNANDEZ » Tue Apr 03, 2018 5:21 am

I believe ball game was both things, I think it was a sport, anything that include people running and making exercise has to be a sport, but if the team that lost the match had to be sacrified, so that makes it a religious ceremony, in which they offer the looser lives and how did they sacrify him. So on that days I don't think religion and sports were separated, just that one gives place to the other

Hello!!

I think this game is a sport, however in many cultures the games were used as form for choose the best people for the wars, also who won were choose as spiritual guide, in all times the sport, and the religion has been joint.

About the bullfighting I think is a cultural expresion, this is some centuries ago, currently exist in Spain and latin american, in my country Colombia the majority of people want banned this activity, I think that this can continue witout killed the animal.

In the modern sports the althetes to pray before the competitions, and thank to God for the win, the majority of competitors include the religion in their sports life

Thanks for our attention!!
