If you like the countryside go to Tejeda in Gran Canaria. You can walk and see very interesting and beautiful places. The town is not big but there are a lot of restaurants which offer you typical food and if you want to stay there, there are some rural houses where you can spend your holidays or you can stay in El Parador de Tejeda. It is a very nice place with a swimming pool surrounded by quietness.

Honestly speaking if you want to have some advises concerning new Holiday destination I'd suggest to remain in Italy.
If you will follow my advise yoy will see some parts of Italy from a different perspective and, at the same time, you will save a lot of money.
In this sense, "Salento area" is one of the best italian locations where you can spend a couple of weeks along with your family, sure to be satisfied.
More, if you move towards calabria beachesides you will get the same results.

Here below there are some destinations in my area, Southern Italy. Particularly, I live in Campania, whose capital city is Naples, so I will just list those which are in the vicinity of it.

1. If you like royal palaces and baroque/neoclassical structures, I would suggest that you go to:
- Caserta (Reggia di Caserta, Belvedere/Complesso Monumentale di San Leucio);
- Naples (Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Reggia di Capodimonte);
- San Tammaro, Caserta (Reggia di Carditello).

2. If you prefer the relax offered by the countryside, hills and mountains, you should probably go to:
- Vesuvius National Park, Naples;
- Baths of Agnano, Naples;
- Matese National Park, Piedimonte Matese, Caserta;
- Cipresseta di Fontegreca Park, Fontegreca, Caserta;
- Sant'Agata de' Goti, Benevento;
- Baths of Telese, Telese Terme, Benevento;
- Partenio Regional Park, Mercogliano, Avellino;
- Valle della Caccia WWF Oasis, Senerchia, Avellino.

3. Should you opt, instead, for seaside resorts, well...you couldn't miss the following ones:
- Sorrento, Naples;
- Amalfi, Salerno;
- Positano, Salerno;
- Ascea Marina, Ascea, Salerno;
- Capo Palinuro, Centola, Salerno;
- Marina di Camerota, Camerota, Salerno.
