The first article (A) has a more colloquial style. It has been writen like a conversation between the writer and the reader.
The second one (B) is more serious, standard and academic. There are a long distance between writer and reader.
For an English people, I think A is easier to read because is funniest and use an easier language. But, for us, English students, is easier B because the words and the grammar are more similar to the words and grammar that we are studying.
I think A is read by a young people who look for a funny way to be informed about the new society tendencies and B by an older people more serious and conscious about the importance of this kind of changes in the world.
