Where I come from, francesco, angelo, alberto, lorenzo, alessia, federica, maria and francesca are common name, in my family is francesco. My great grandfather was from Marche and I don't know exactly when He came from but I think when he was young. I know my grandfather was born in my country. My name doesn't refer any professions, but in my family there is a tradition according to which name are inherited from grandfather, in fact i inherited my name from my grandfather. When I meet someone the first time and I'm not in a formal circustance usually I use my first name, but in the other way i use a surname with title. I have never heard someone call his or her pet such as honey or darling or sugar.
