If you come to Uruguay, you must visit La Paloma. It's a village located in Rocha, east of Uruguay. There are a lot of beautiful places to go to, one of them is the lighthouse, called Faro de Santa María, in the top of the lighthouse you can see all the sea, and part of the village. Then you can visit de main avenue, where you could find whale bones, real bones mounted one by one over a structure, really big.
By the night you can stay on the hotels near the lighthouse, or maybe rent some bedroom by airbnb or another app, there are a few locations, but I'm pretty sure it will be magic to stay there. If you don't know how to go there, just follow the road number 8 to the east from Montevideo, it's easy to get there by reading the road signs.
