1. A product approach:
This is a traditional approach, in which students are encouraged to mimic a model text, which is usually presented and analysed at an early stage.
A process approach:
Process approaches to writing tend to focus more on the varied classroom activities which promote the development of language use: brainstorming, group discussion, re-writing.
I prefer process approach over product approach because its more modern and depends on the students more than the teachers which lets them use their mind more.
2. Each one of them is more beneficial in certain ways of teaching. I think a process approach is better for students because it makes them brainstorm. However, for businessmen a product approach would be more preferable because their jobs depend on the daily repetition.
3. Giving assessments and daily writings inside the classroom would be good for the younger students who need to improve their beginner or intermediate writing skills. As well as giving essays and novel analysis to the older students to improve their advanced writing skills
